Acer Launches Predator XB323QX Gaming Monitor, Delivering Dual Modes: 5K@144Hz & 1440p@288Hz
Acer unveiled several gaming products at CES, including gaming monitors, handhelds, and laptops. One of the latest additions to its monitor inventory is the Predator XB323QX gaming monitor, featuring up to 5K (5120x2888p) resolution. The monitor will feature a 31.5-inch IPS panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio and will boast dual resolution modes.
At 5K resolution, it can reach up to 144Hz of refresh rate and will have a low response time of just 0.5ms GtG. This is excellent for both immersive and competitive gaming with rich visuals, filled with sharp details. If you need higher fluidity, you can turn on the second mode through Dynamic Frequency and Resolution technology, which will enable the WQHD (2560x1440) resolution with a 288Hz refresh rate.
The display also supports NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar, a technology that delivers excellent visual clarity and 4x higher effective motion clarity than regular displays. Equipped with true 10-bit color depth, it can deliver 1.07B colors for vibrant color reproduction and has a wide color gamut, including coverages like 95% DCI-P3 or 99% sRGB.
For connectivity, there is a single DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports for modern GPUs. The monitor is ergonomic as well, featuring a beautiful and adjustable stand that can let you tilt, swivel, or adjust its height according to your comfort. Furthermore, the monitor brings 2x 2W speakers for satisfactory audio performance.
Currently, Acer only has up to 4K gaming monitors, but the XB323QX is the company's first 5K addition with dual modes, which suits both enthusiasts and competitive players. The pricing and availability of the monitor is not disclosed yet.
