AMD plans to integrate the "Navi 48 XTW" GPU with its next workstation GPU lineup, presumably the Radeon PRO W9000 series.

AMD Plans To Bring RDNA 4 To Workstation Lineup As Well, Likely In The Rumored Radeon PRO W9000 Series

Well, Team Red's Navi 48 GPU launch was indeed confined to maxing out capabilities since, with RDNA 4 consumer GPUs, AMD decided it was time to bid farewell to the enthusiast GPU segment. It was assumed before the Radeon RX 9070 series launch that a Navi 48 XTX variant would likely be the competition to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5090, but sadly enough, we didn't see it getting launched. However, according to the leaker @AnhPhuH, a Navi 48 XTW is in the works, which will be a part of AMD's workstation GPU lineup and is claimed to feature 32 GB of VRAM onboard.

While the leaker hasn't mentioned specifics yet, it is speculated that this lineup could be part of AMD's W9000 workstation series. However, we aren't certain for now, given that this particular lineup hasn't surfaced anywhere in the past. Apart from this, it is claimed that the variant would come with 32 GB memory, likely GDDR6, so it is safe to say that, for now, this model would be the highest-spec when it comes to VRAM configuration in the Navi 48 series.

In terms of what we are looking at from AMD in the consumer segment, the company is prepping for the launch of the Radeon RX 9060 XT and the Radeon RX 9070 GRE, with an official announcement likely around Computex. Similarly, for the Navi 48 XTW workstation GPU, we could see an unveiling either at the Advancing AI event, or Computex, but the former seems a greater possibility, considering that the event is intended for the professional segment.
