AMD is surprisingly leading the GPU sales at one of the biggest German retailers and has shipped over 50% of the total GPUs this week.
Radeon RX 9070 XT Retains First Position With Over 300 Units Sale; NVIDIA Still Accumulates More Revenue
The early sales stats are out for the German retailer, Mindfactory. With better availability, AMD was selling almost 100 units of the RX 9070 XT per day, but at the end of the week, it was reported that the RX 9070 XT sold 340 units in total. However, as per the report, Mindfactory is still restocking and, therefore, next week and the following ones will likely see bigger numbers.
Currently, there are six Radeon RX 9070 XT editions, all from XFX. Therefore, the availability of custom editions from other brands isn't that good at the moment. Moreover, the RX 9070 has just two editions on the website and isn't doing well. The second position was taken by the GeForce RTX 5080, which sold 220 units this week. This looks surprisingly good, considering the poor start to the card on Monday.

RX 7800 XT is still one of the most popular cards on MF but is far behind the sales of the above two cards. It sold around 60 units this week, tying with the GeForce RTX 5090, the flagship Blackwell GPU. The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti stands at the fifth position with 45 units and is a direct competitor to the RX 9070 XT in performance. As the card costs were noticeably higher, it didn't see good success. Still, it's just the start and the availability and pricing are yet to stabilize.
The next RTX 50 card is the RTX 5070 with around 30 units in sale and the rest of the positions are acquired by the previous-gen AMD and NVIDIA cards. What may look surprising at first is that despite AMD selling more units, it stayed behind NVIDIA in revenue generation. In total, AMD sold 440 units, compared to 395 units by NVIDIA, but the average selling price of both has a huge gap.
While AMD had an ASP of €751, NVIDIA had almost doubled at €1,549. This is mostly due to the RTX 5080 sales and also due to the RTX 5090. AMD doesn't have a $1000+ card in the current gen and, therefore, remains behind in revenue generation. As far as the market share goes, Mindfactory is just one source, and we cannot determine which company has the biggest GPU market share in Germany.
Another surprise is seeing no Intel Arc cards on the list. Intel has sold almost Zero Arc GPUs this week, which totally eliminates Intel from the competition. We can't even find a single Intel Arc B580 card on the website, which is only one of the two cards Intel launched a while back. Intel is not able to compete just because it lacks high-performance cards, but also because it can't even fulfill the market demands.
