AOOSTAR is among the first manufacturers to unveil Mini PCs based on the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 "Strix" APU and the company has now unveiled the pricing which is a bit on the expensive side.

So we talked about the GEM10 370 Mini PC a few days ago during its official unveiling and the Mini PC maker has now revealed the initial configuration and pricing for the platform.
As per the details, the AOOSTAR GEM10-370 which features the top AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 "Strix" APU will be priced at 5699 RMB which converts to around $800 US. This specific variant will feature 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1 TB of NVMe Gen4 SSD storage. While this is the first price unveil of a Strix-based PC, it does get us a little bit worried if other manufacturers are also going to price their own Mini PCs at a similar price range.
The AOOSTAR GEM10 370 Mini PC looks just as small as the GEM10 and as per the description, it will retain the same 0.6 L aluminum CNC case, measuring 10.7 x 10.7 x 6 CM in dimensions. This will allow users to carry the GEM10 370 into their pocket pretty easily. With the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU, users will get solid 12 cores, and 24 threads based on the Zen 5 architecture with an RDNA 3.5-based Radeon 890M graphics.
The AOOSTAR GEM10 Mini PC will also come with an integrated copper heat pipe cooling solution and will also retain the OcuLink connector for extended graphics capabilities through an eGPU module. Other specs will include USB4 support and up to three PCIe Gen4 SSD slots. The chassis being super small is definitely a plus but it remains to be seen how Strix APUs such as the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 will work in such a small housing. They are quite efficient and will make for a very light & portable gaming solution but we will have to wait for further tests to see if it's worth the high price tag.
