As many as four models of upcoming ASUS laptops have been listed on a retail website, revealing their core configuration, which includes both upcoming AMD and Intel CPUs.

ASUS next-gen laptops spotted with 8-core Zen 5 APU as well as Intel Core 200H and Intel Core Ultra 200H processors

ASUS usually makes Vivobooks and Zenbooks dedicated to productivity and office work, but this time, some of these laptops will be able to game on the CPU itself. While these families aren't equipped with discrete GPUs, which makes them ideal for portability, they will now host powerful integrated graphics that can carry out GPU-intensive tasks.

As spotted by @94G8LA, four ASUS laptop models are currently listed on EYO.com.au, an Australian retailer. The description of these laptops has revealed their specifications to the extent that we can identify what CPU they boast. Plus, some additional specifications have been clearly listed that reveal their connectivity, OS, display, battery life, etc.

The first one is the ASUS M1607KA, which is a 16-inch Vivobook, featuring a WUXGA display and will be powered by the 8-core AMD Krackan Point APU. It is a Zen 5-based APU, which features a core configuration of 4x Zen 5 + 4x Zen 5c with hyperthreading. Krackan Point chips are aimed at the affordable laptop segment and will feature RDNA 3.5-based graphics. This particular model will come with 16 GB DDR5 memory, 1TB storage, WiFi 6802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3, and a battery life of 42 Wh.

The next three are Intel-based laptops. Two of them are based on the Intel Core Ultra 200H processors aka Lunar Lake chips while one is based on the Intel Core 200H CPU aka Raptor Lake Refresh with the recent naming convention. The ones boasting the Lunar Lake chips are the ASUS X1607CA on EYO and the ASUS Zenbook UX3405CA, the latter spotted on Kotsovolos retail website.

The former boasts the budget Intel Core Ultra 5 225H CPU, 16 GB DDR5, 512GB SSD, and other similar specifications as the Krackan Point laptop. The Zenbook laptop features much higher-end specs, including a 14-inch OLED display, 32 GB RAM, and 1TB storage. The fourth one is the ASUS V3607VU, which is a Vivobook based on the Raptor Lake Refresh Intel Core 7 240H processors, 16 GB DDR5 memory, and 512 GB memory. It will have a longer 63Wh battery but will have inferior integrated graphics compared to the Lunar Lake-based notebooks.

As for the pricing, the ASUS M1607KA Krackan Point-based laptop is listed at 1490.69 AUD, translating to around US$946. The ASUS X1607CA is listed at 1391.26 AUD or $833 and the ASUS V3607VA at 1789.04 AUD or $1136.
