Diving into the specifications, the ExpertCenter PN54 comes with the Ryzen AI 7 350 APU, which features an 8-core/16-thread configuration on the latest Zen 5 architecture. The device features a Radeon 860M iGPU onboard, that comes with eight RDNA 3.5 cores, offering decent graphical performance for multiple workloads. The Krackan Point chip is indeed suited for every-day workloads, and is even capable of handling mid-to-high intensity tasks as well, given the architectural advancements of the SoC.

In terms of memory and storage, the mini-PC comes with two SODIMM slots, supporting DDR5-5600 modules for up to 64 GB capacity. The ExpertCenter PN54 is equipped with 2x M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 SSD slots, providing ample space for users to mount their storage drives. Interestingly, this is one of the few mini-PCs on the market to support Microsoft's Copilot+ PC program, since not only does the device offer a dedicated Copilot button on the front, but with the XDNA 2 NPU onboard, edge AI will indeed be seamless.

Other notable features include support for WiFi-7 and Bluetooth 5.4 along with a USB 4 Type C port which is capable of 100W PD. The mini-PC also comes with SonicMaster's 2W speakers as well, so that's something uncommon to see in compact devices in the markets. In terms of the overall looks, well, the ExpertCenter PN54 comes with a minimalistic build, similar to NUC systems, and there's nothing going around in terms of lighting or RGB options.

ASUS is yet to reveal pricing and availability details for the ExpertCenter PN54, however, it will become one of the first mini-PCs to offer AMD's Krackan Point APUs, so it will be interesting to see turns that turns out.
