According to @PandaFlashPro, his unnamed sources have informed him that the device features a single 200MP sensor instead of two, but that is thanks to the chipset’s limitations.
To recap the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s specifications, Qualcomm’s latest and greatest could support a single camera up to a resolution of 320MP, so it is highly likely that the current Galaxy S26 Ultra was being tested with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2. A single chipset generation can hardly deliver a mammoth-sized leap in features to support 200MP cameras off the bat, forcing Samsung to resume its testing with just a single camera. For those wondering if the test chipset could have been an Exynos 2600, the rumor does not mention the exact silicon.

However, the same person who shared the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s primary camera configuration also revealed in an earlier rumor that the flagship was being tested with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2, and there was no evidence that an Exynos 2600 variant was in the lab.
