As March 2014 comes nearer, the rumors and speculations around Samsung's next flagship Galaxy S5 are increasing and heating up. Since past couple months we have heard about Samsung Galaxy S5 being launched in premium model allegedly having a diamond coated chassis. More and more rumors seem to agree that Samsung is going to mirror the technique opted by its biggest competitor, the Cupertino based Apple, by launching two variants of its next flagship.

Samsung Galaxy S5 specs confirmed:
The recent rumor trove of Galaxy S5 specs confirmed list includes two variants of the next flagship. The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be launched in both metal and plastic versions. The former might even cost as much as $1,000!
- Processor: Referring to some insider, SamMobile confirms that Samsung Galaxy S5 will be powered by the Exynos 6 processor and the Snapdragon 805 - depending on the LTE. It is now confirmed that SGS5 will be the first ever smartphone to run a Snapdragon 805 CPU which will improve the graphics and overall performance.
- Display: One of the biggest highlights is that Galaxy S5 confirmed specs list includes a tip that the next flagship will sport a Super AMOLED 2560 x 1440 resolutions display. No more 1080p displays! While the display size isn't yet confirmed, it should be somewhere around 5.3 inches.
- Camera: A lot of speculations have been doing rounds around Samsung Galaxy S5's camera. Where Samsung would finally implement optical image stabilization or not? Galaxy S5 will have a 16 MP rear camera, however, hardware optical image stabilization (OIS) isn't yet confirmed.

No brainer about software as the next Samsung devices are supposed to be powered by Android 4.4 KitKat. Samsung Galaxy S5 will be announced in March and released in April according to the same "insider".
- Same tipster has shared that Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and Zoom will also be upgraded to SGS5 Mini and Zoom. Both these devices will come with Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-box. Expected to launch in May / June, both devices will have Super AMOLED display.
