GAMEMAX Launches Blade Concept Limited Edition ATX Chassis, Bringing a Lion-Inspired Design with Open Air Frame for Maximum Cooling Potential
PC case manufacturers are continuously experimenting and bringing newer designs to the table, no longer limited to just adding support for bigger components. GAMEMAX, which manufacturers PC peripherals and hardware, has just debuted a brand-new limited edition called "Blade Concept" that delivers an exceptional design for PC builders and enthusiasts.
The Blade Concept is an ATX tower that boasts a lion-inspired design with a highly spacious interior that can support the latest RTX 50 series high-end GPUs, measuring up to 400mm. On the flip side, it only offers support for up to 105mm CPU coolers, which is quite lower than regular ATX cases. This is possibly due to focusing around AIO coolers that don't need so much clearance. However, considering it's an open-frame chassis that needs no side panel, it appears that there should be no issue in installing very tall air coolers as well.
The Blade Concept utilizes all-CNC precision processing, laser cutting, and high-precision molding for a nearly perfect and gorgeous-looking case that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly durable. As per GAMEMAX, the front panel of the case is constructed using high-strength nylon weave that allows maximum airflow but can trap dust and dirt to keep the interior clean. However, don't expect an open-air case to remain dust-free for a long time, since it will still accumulate more dust than a regular chassis with a side panel.
The case is one of a kind in its design both externally and internally. Unlike regular flat panels, there are five metal frame sheets equipped with ARGB lighting strips that run from the rear to the bottom of the front panel for a mesmerizing look. Inside, you will find a dedicated 360mm radiator slot, right behind the motherboard tray, which is a clever design to utilize the space while allowing the case to breathe easily from all the sides.
The case isn't very modular but the I/O panel at the bottom is swappable and can be installed on either the left or right side for convenience, and comes with 2x USB Type A Gen 3.1 ports and 1x USB Type C Gen 2 port for peripheral connectivity.
GAMEMAX has priced the Concept Edition Limited edition at $240.99, but availability will depend from store to store.
