Getac's New Offerings, B360, and B360 Pro are Intel "Arrow Lake" Core Ultra 200H-Based Laptops, Ready for Harsh Environments Through Military-Grade Construction

Taiwanese manufacturer, Getac, has introduced a brand-new lineup of rugged laptops, featuring the latest Intel Arrow Lake-H processors. These laptops are not only designed for harsh and extreme weather conditions but also promise great performance while remaining power-efficient and versatile in different conditions.

The new offerings are the B360 and B360 Pro laptops, featuring Intel Core Ultra 200H processors. These will not only bring powerful computing into the hands of users but will also allow them to use laptops in harsh environments, thanks to their durable military-grade construction.

The difference between the Getac B360 and B360 Pro laptops is the usage of a discrete GPU. The former relies on integrated graphics, which is already decent on Core Ultra 200H for intensive graphical loads, but the latter allows users to add an NVIDIA RTX A500 4GB workstation GPU.

Both of them bring solid certifications such as MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G, and IP66, making them ideal in conditions like high altitude, extreme heat, and cold weather, and mechanical shocks, and are also dust and waterproof. This is why these are heavier and thicker than mainstream laptops and are more suitable for outside usage.

Each of them brings a 13.3-inch Full HD display with up to 1400 nits of brightness, allowing users to use them directly under the sun. The hot-swappable battery system is another convenient feature that lets users change the battery without having to shut down the system. The B360 Pro can be upgraded from a 2-cell battery to a 3-cell, increasing the battery life significantly.

These laptops can work in freezing and hot environments with temperatures dropping as low as -29°C and as high as 63°C. They are also highly durable with drop resistance as high as 1.8m. The Getac B360 and B360 Pro bring dedicated GPU modules for navigation without internet connectivity and also support Cellular modules for fast 4G/5G connectivity.

With such improved rugged laptops, Getac has been moving forward rapidly, producing ideal machines for departments such as the Military & Defense, Public Safety, and Industrial & Manufacturing industries. Pricing and exact availability dates are yet to be disclosed.
