PlayStation titles eventually coming to PC has become a more-or-less standard thing, but Sony has remained relatively quiet about when one of their biggest PS5 exclusives, God of War Ragnarok, would be making the jump. Of course, rumors have been flying for the last couple of months, but there’s been no official confirmation from Sony.

Well, today during Sony’s latest State of Play, they finally let the cat out of the bag, revealing a September PC release date for God of War Ragnarok along with an impressive new trailer. Of course, the game will come with a variety of PC-exclusive features, including ultrawide resolutions, and support for DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 1.3. The Valhalla DLC will also be packed with the game. You can check out the trailer for yourself, below.

Pre-orders for the PC version of God of War Ragnarok are now open. And yes, despite being a single-player game, a PSN account is required. Here's a bit more official detail on the new features being brought to the table by developer Jetpack Interactive, who also handled the PC port of 2018's God of War.

“God of War Ragnarok is exactly what we hoped for, and even more. It offers a masterfully told story using a more mature approach, seasoned with a unique setting, a rich characterization of the characters, and challenges that can keep even hardcore gamers busy at the highest difficulties. In other words, it is a title that is simply just too good to be missed.”

God of War Ragnarok is available now on PS5 and launches on PC on September 13 of this year. What do you think PC partisans? Eager to get your hands on Kratos’ latest?
