The much-anticipated remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is here, and much like the Gamecube original, the game is bursting with puzzles, secrets, and some quirky mechanics that new players may find slightly perplexing. Don’t worry though, we’re here to cut The Thousand-Year Door’s more confusing aspects down to size.
As you play through Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door’s, six party members will join you in the regular course of the story, but it feels like there’s room for one more, doesn’t it? Well, that’s because there’s a seventh optional party member – the stylish rodent thief Ms. Mowz. Here’s how to unlock the full compliment of Paper Mario TTYD party members…
Note: The following guide contains minor Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door SPOILERS.

Once you’ve wrapped up Chapter 4, head to the Trouble Center in east Rogueport, and accept the “Elusive Badge” quest from a mystery party.

Head up onto the roofs in the central part of town, just west of the badge shop. You’ll meet Ms. Mowz there and she’ll send you to look for a specific badge in Hooktail Castle.

Head back to the place you fought Hooktail, which is now empty. Hmmm, nothing here – what to do? Use Flurrie’s power to blow away a flap to expose a hidden treasure chest. Inside you’ll find the Elusive Badge. Take the badge back to Ms. Mowz and she’ll join your party!
Ms. Mowz isn’t the most powerful party member, but she has some nice healing abilities, and can sniff out hidden items like Star Pieces in the overworld.
