The Expanse: A Telltale Series is a new episodic adventure series from a reformed version of Telltale Games and Deck Nine (the team behind Life is Strange: Before the Storm and True Colors). Like the Telltale series of old this one largely focuses on story, player choice, and quick-time action scenes, but it also features an array of collectibles and even sidequests. Most of the collectibles can be found if you just take some time to search all the areas the main story forces you to pass through, but sidequests may require you to dig a little deeper or venture off the beaten path.

One of the sidequests in The Expanse tasks you with finding a stogie for your cantankerous pilot Khan. Finding the cigar isn’t difficult, but it’s easy to overlook, so here’s how to make sure you don’t miss it…
- Step 1 – This sidequests is one of the few so far that spans multiple episodes. In Episode 1, after you find the hand in order to get into the Officer’s Quarters, head to the right into a small room with a drawer at the end. Interact with it and you’ll see a cutscene of a cigar floating out of the drawer.
- Step 2 – So, how do you get the cigar? Easy, just walk along the wall with your magnetic boots and grab it.
- Step 3 – In Episode 2, after escaping the Ship Graveyard, talk to Khan and offer her the cigar.
So, what does completing this side quest get you? You’ll alter your relationship with Khan, which could have long-lasting effects in future episodes. You’ll also unlock the “Stogie for Fogey” achievement/trophy.
