It's now confirmed that the RTX 5060 Ti will have both 8 GB and 16 GB editions and one of its upcoming RTX 5060 Ti-based gaming PCs has been listed on a Canadian retailer.

Best Buy Canada Lists 16 GB RTX 5060 Ti-Based HP OMEN 16L Gaming PC, Features Ryzen 7 8700F, 16 GB RAM, and 1 TB SSD

Earlier today, we reported that the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB and 16 GB editions will officially launch on 16th April. Even though it's just a rumor as of now, it's highly likely that the GPUs will be available on the shelves next month as OEMs and retailers have started to list those GPUs as well.

The latest is from HP, an OEM that sells pre-built gaming PCs apart from notebooks. The company has silently unveiled its latest Omen 16L gaming desktop, featuring the upcoming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPUs. The listings confirm that the RTX 5060 Ti will feature both 8 GB and 16 GB variants.

On the HP website, there are two configurations for this PC, each featuring an 8 GB RTX 5060 Ti. However, one PC will be based on an AMD processor (Ryzen 7 8700F) and the other on Intel (Core i7 14700F). The rest of the stuff is almost identical, including 32 GB DDR5 RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD, and Windows 11 OS. Of course, the motherboard will be different.

In another leak by @momomo_us, we saw the HP Omen 16L Gaming PC listed on Best Buy Canada. This time it's the one that features a 16 GB GeForce RTX 5060 Ti edition paired with the Ryzen 7 8700F CPU, 16 GB RAM, and 1 TB SSD. It is currently live on the website at $1799.99, but the availability date isn't disclosed yet. We expect the machine to go on sale as soon as the RTX 5060 Ti is officially released for sale next month.

Ryzen 7 8700F might seem like a weird choice for this gaming PC since we already have Ryzen 9000 CPUs based on the Zen 5 architecture. However, the RTX 5060 Ti is going to be a lower mid-range GPU, and Ryzen 7 8700F should be sufficient for it. The configuration looks balanced, but the price tag appears to be quite high even if you consider the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB to be a $500 GPU.

Nonetheless, OEM pre-built systems generally have a higher price tag than what you can build by buying individual parts. The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is going to target 1080p resolution but the 16 GB edition should be capable of handling modern titles at 1440p as well. It is expected to feature 4608 CUDA Cores, 8/16 GB GDDR7 VRAM, a 128-bit Memory Bus, and a TDP of 180W.
