Intel's Battlemage-based Arc B570 GPU has been spotted in the Geekbench OpenCL database days ahead of its official launch.

If you remember, Intel unveiled two GPUs in the Battlemage lineup, featuring the latest Xe2-HPG architecture. The first GPU (Arc B580) was already launched in December 2024, but the lower-priced variant is about to launch in a few days. Intel announced that the Arc B570 will launch officially on 15th January and there are just two days left before we can see how the card performs.
Since leaks usually emerge a few days before launch, we have one of the first benchmarks for this GPU. The user @GawroskiT spotted the GPU on Geekbench, showing its prowess in the OpenCL test. If you don't know about Geekbench, it's a tool that users usually use for benchmarking their CPUs and GPUs and can vary from test to test. Hence, keep in mind that the scores yielded by Arc B570 may come to be higher or even lower with more benchmarks.
Nonetheless, we can see that the Intel Arc B570 "Battlemage" GPU is noticeably slower than the Arc B580 as expected.
The Arc B570 scored 86716 points in OpenCL, which, when compared to the OpenCL score of B580, is roughly 12% slower depending on which result you pick up for comparison. The B580 usually hovers between 95,000-100,000 points and if we take one of the recent scores of the B580 (98343 points), the B570 is around 12% slower.

Plus, we can see the specs listed in the OpenCL Information tab, revealing 144 Compute Units and up to 2.75 GHz of boost clock. While the official information does reveal the base of a 2500 MHz clock, we have seen the 2.75 GHz boost for the first time, which is probably due to being a custom AIB edition.
The Intel Arc B570 GPU boasts 10 GB GDDR6 memory on a 160-bit bus, which was already revealed earlier, and the detailed specifications can be found on Intel's official website. The GPU does use the same BMG-G21 die that measures 272 mm2 but has cut-down specs. The Arc B570 is expected to be a bit slower than the B580 in gaming as well, but we don't know if there is a 10-15% performance gap there too.
The Intel Arc B570 will be launched for $219 for the limited edition, but the custom designs from Intel's board partners will retail for higher. For the price, the Intel Arc B580 may still seem like the better value, but we will see how things pan out for this new mainstream offering. The B580 is a very strong mainstream card and, hopefully, we will see some high-end offerings in the future as the company has reaffirmed support of the discrete segment for the foreseeable future.
