With the Made by Google event just around the corner, the Pixel 9 series leaks have left us with little mystery about what the upcoming models would look like and their specifications. Earlier reports have given away significant information on all four models to be unveiled, their possible colors, and the design they will sport. Although there has been limited information on the new series' pricing, we have been expecting a price hike. Now, a new pricing leak gives away information on the Pixel 9 Pro models, and you should be ready to pay more this time around.
The U.S. pricing leak confirms the price hike speculated for the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL
With Google gearing up for its next event on August 13th, users and the tech community are looking forward to the Pixel 9 series and its upcoming upgrades. The rumor mill has not stopped churning about the upcoming models and has left no surprise for the big reveal. The leaks will not stop until the launch date, for a new report gives away the U.S. pricing for the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL.
While previous reports did give us an insight into the European pricing for the Pixel 9 series, scarce information was available on the U.S. pricing. A Redditor has shared T-Mobile's listing giving away the Google Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL prices for varied storage options. As per the leak, the Google Pixel 9 Pro starting price would be $1000, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL will start at $1200.

A point to be noted is that the listing includes the same pricing for 256GB and 512GB versions, which could be attributed to some promotional bundle as part of a pre-order deal by Google for a free storage upgrade. The Pro XL model is seeing a $200 price jump even though it is said to be the same size as the Pixel 8 Pro with a 6.8-inch display. The listing also suggests that the Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL will start at 256GB storage for the base model, while previous reports pointed out otherwise.
The U.S. pricing seems to have matched the European selling price, highlighting the Pixel 9 Pro Fold's price to remain the same as the original Pixel Fold. This could be a strategy to sustain the foldable position in the market with advanced features and competitive pricing. We have yet to hear official confirmation of the speculated pricing. The Made by Google event is less than a week away, and we will get to see the Pixel 9 series with its full set of features and design at the big unveiling.
