Our goal was to build upon the foundations of RPG and MMO PvP into its own title, something we haven't quite seen before. We incorporated many of the lessons and learnings from building one of the biggest MMOs of all time (World of Warcraft) into Legacy. Based on feedback we've had from players already, I think we have something special here and we can't wait to share it with more and more players.

Here's a feature overview for Legacy: Steel & Sorcery:

  • Embark on solo adventures or join forces with up to two other friends.
  • Actively dodge, block, sprint, attack, and cast in combat.
  • Level up each character to unlock new skills and traits.
  • The world is part of the battle. Warriors can charge through walls and hurl boulders, while priests can float over danger and away from enemies. Each class has unique ways of interacting with the environment.
  • Improve your reputation with vendors to craft the most impressive gear and get them to sell you the best stuff.
  • Upgrade your permanent dwelling with higher quality furnishings. Better facilities mean more benefits on your adventures.
  • Embark on quests for unique rewards and much-needed supplies.
  • Experience a community-wide reboot when major updates reset progression and deliver new content and gameplay changes.

The game will launch in early access and remain there for around one year before the 1.0 release, which will feature more classes, maps, social features, Steam achievements, additional art, and balance polish. During early access, Notorious Studios plans to release a major update every few months containing new features and content, in addition to bug fixes as needed.
