NVIDIA has released its latest GeForce Game Ready driver which adds support for Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition, further enhancing RTX & DLSS capabilities.

Today's NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready driver brings two major updates. First and foremost, CDPR's Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition is getting a load of enhancements in the visual and gameplay department with the release of Update 2.1. This new update brings a range of highly anticipated features to the game while further elevating the game's visuals (as Global Art Director Jakub Knapik first told Wccftech in a recent interview) which are already the best on the PC platform.

Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition Gets 2.1 Update, New Game Ready Driver & Improved Visuals

The Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition and Update 2.1 which releases on the 5th of December will be free for everyone and adds various tech enhancements. The update will also mark the exit of the Cyberpunk 2077 Ray Tracing: Overdrive mode from its preview status which brought us Path Tracing support. So not only is Path Tracing exiting preview mode but also bringing improved image quality and new features to the table.

CD PROJEKT RED recently unveiled Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, featuring the base game and the critically acclaimed Phantom Liberty spy thriller expansion, plus every update, in-game add-on, and all enhancements released since the game’s original launch in 2020. Gamers should use this driver to get the most out of full ray tracing, DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction, Reflex and more in Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.

Also on December 5th, and for free for all players, will be the Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.1 which features new gameplay content, and tech enhancements, further improving image quality, immersion and realism. Cyberpunk 2077’s Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode exits Preview status with improved image quality and new features; DLSS Ray Reconstruction can now be usable when activating ray-traced reflections, either as part of a preset, or when configuring custom settings, enabling more gamers to benefit from its incredible RT enhancements.

One of the features is the enablement of NVIDIA's DLSS 3.5 while activating ray-traced reflections. Currently, DLSS 3.5 only works with RT Overdrive Mode (Path Tracing) but with the latest update, it can be used with standard Ray Raytracing reflections, either as a preset or when configuring game settings customly. This enables more RTX gamers to make use of the technology, So to sum things up, you will be getting:

Call of Duty Pre-Game Lobbies Will Now Look Prettier With Full Ray Tracing & DLSS 3.5 Support

Moving to the second big update of the latest GeForce Game Ready Drivers, we have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone getting support for full ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 technologies with Ray Reconstruction to the pre-game lobby. These updates will be added via the driver on the 6th of December and provide an extra depth of detail to the game.

Season 1 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone goes live in early December. Led by the arrival and integration of Call of Duty: Warzone and the new Urzikstan “Big Map,” along with three brand-new Core 6v6 Multiplayer Maps, additional maps and modes, and an impressive selection of free and premium content, including free functional weapons. GeForce Gamers are Game Ready with this new driver.

In each mode, GeForce gamers can accelerate frame rates with AI-powered DLSS 3, or maximize image quality with DLAA. And gameplay gets even more responsive thanks to the inclusion of NVIDIA Reflex in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

On December 6th Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone will add Full Ray Tracing & NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction to the pre-game lobby. This driver supports those updates.

Lastly, the new GeForce Game Ready driver also adds support for new G-Sync-compatible displays while adding one-click profiles for 12 new games.
