The new NVIDIA GeForce 572.60 GPU driver promises to fix the black screen problems for RTX 50 series users and also fixes several bugs.

If you own any of the GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs, it's advisable to update to the latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver, which NVIDIA released today. This driver was due for several days, as recently NVIDIA promised that it would roll out a new driver to fix the widespread bricking of RTX 50 series GPUs.

If you aren't familiar with this problem, even if you own an RTX 50 series, then this is still crucial because many users recently met with the black screen issue when updating to a newer driver that supported RTX 50 GPUs. Even after resetting the BIOS and multiple troubleshooting steps, a lot of users couldn't get their display turned on.

The new Game Ready Driver 572.60 is now out, offering various game gaming and general bug fixes, including the black screen one. Apart from that, several other bugs have been fixed, like display stutter in SteamVR on RTX 50 series, crashes, audio issues, low performance in certain instances, and image corruption. Another big update is the inclusion of NARAKA: Bladepoint in the list of DLSS 4 supported titles. This means players can now enjoy better performance and visuals on their RTX GPUs. As per the release notes, Monster Hunter Wilds is now a part of the list as well.
