NVIDIA reveals that they have sold over three million+ Blackwell GPUs this year alone, and this figure is limited to only the top four US cloud-service providers.
NVIDIA Tops Out Blackwell Sales Figures By Up To 3x Compared To Hopper, Shows Computing Demand Is Here To Stay
Team Green has apparently surpassed the "Hopper hype" with its Blackwell lineup, as according to Jensen at the GTC 2025 keynote, the firm has managed to ship out 3.6 million units of its Blackwell GPUs to the top four US CSPs, and this doesn't take into account AI-based firms or even startups. Compared to the Hopper generation, this almost marks a three-times gain in sales figures, that too in just a span of a year, which is simply amazing to witness. This surely confirms that the demand is on its very top, and we have a lot more to see.

NVIDIA's CEO claims that AI computing is at an "inflection point" and that the future in terms of the need for more hardware is set to grow rapidly. Team Green expects data center build-outs to reach $1 trillion+ in expenses by 2027, which is almost a 4x gain from current levels. NVIDIA expects to fully capitalize on the transition to AI-focused computing, and with the increase in recognition that AI will require higher financial resources, Team Green expects to see revenue levels that haven't been witnessed by any other firm in the world.

These claims have basically refuted the notion that NVIDIA's Blackwell has been a failure, and despite the lineup experiencing issues like yield rates and shipping delays, the architecture has still seen massive adoption by the industry. And, this is just the beginning, since with future lineups like Blackwell Ultra and Vera Rubin, we expect computing revenue to see a massive acceleration, with NVIDIA capitalizing the most out of all firms.
The future seems surely bright for NVIDIA, and the company is set to lead the AI bandwagon, courtesy of its cutting-edge hardware capabilities, and a robust software ecosystem.
