As per the information, the board partners have been notified of the delay for both the RTX 5060 series GPUs, which will now be launching a few weeks later.

GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Reportedly Delayed for April Launch While the RTX 5060 Will Launch a Month Later

Right before the launch of the GeForce RTX 5070, we have been hearing about delays concerning the RTX 5060 series GPUs. Previously, it was rumored that the RTX 5060 series would launch in March and would be available for purchase in April, but today's report says that the date has been pushed even further.

The reasons aren't clear, but Board Channels confirmed that this is something that all of NVIDIA's board partners have been notified of. This isn't yet official, but keep in mind that NVIDIA hasn't talked about the RTX 5060 release yet, and it's highly likely that this report comes out to be true. We had previously also heard of bugs and supply issues, leading to delays of the RTX 5060 series, but this isn't something that was confirmed by NVIDIA.

NVIDIA has notified all AIC partners internally via email about the release of the new RTX 5060 Ti / 5060 series products, notifying all brands that the above two GPU series will be delayed. At the same time, NV has revealed that the release of the new RTX 5060 Ti 16G / 8G series products will probably be delayed to mid-April, and the new RTX 5060 series products will probably be released in mid-May. The specific time is subject to further notification from NV.

The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is now rumored to launch in 'mid-April' while the GeForce RTX 5060 will launch a month later, i.e., 'mid-May'. As for the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, it's expected that both of its variants will launch together. Moreover, the exact dates of launch for the cards are yet to be declared, even to NVIDIA's board partners.

That said, it's possible that the launch of both the RTX 5060 series GPUs will coincide with the launch of AMD's RX 9060 series GPUs. The latter brings RX 9060 XT and RX 9060 cards, with the former with 8 GB and 16 GB variants, making them direct competitors to the 8 GB and 16 GB RTX 5060 Ti cards. While we don't know the launch date of the RX 9060 series, they are also rumored to launch in the second quarter.

The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti will be NVIDIA's successor to the RTX 4060 Ti and will feature 4608 CUDA Cores, 8/16 GB GDDR7 VRAM, and 180W of TDP. The RTX 5060 will replace the RTX 4060, featuring 3840 CUDA Cores, 8 GB GDDR7 VRAM, and a TDP of 150W. However, we have also seen the RTX 5060 with 12 GB of VRAM in a recent leak, but it's not yet official. Still, it's a possibility and can take a lead over the RX 9060 as the latter is expected to bring only the 8 GB variant.
