Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen Does Not Support Bluetooth Connectivity, Resulting In A Petition Filed To Bring The Feature Back With The Galaxy S26 Ultra Launch Next Year

Petition signed to bring Bluetooth features back to the Galaxy S26 Ultra S Pen

Samsung has done its best to deliver the best flagship possible with the Galaxy S25 Ultra by equipping it with the Snapdragon 8 Elite instead of the Exynos 2500, along with providing a slightly changed design to make it comfortable to use. However, some interesting choices were made with the S Pen, as it no longer features Bluetooth connectivity, meaning that it loses out on a host of features that come under the Air Actions banner.

Not everyone is pleased with this decision, and since there is no way for Samsung to go back to the drawing board and start mass producing a stylus that comes with Bluetooth connectivity, a petition has been filed, imploring the company to bring back the feature when the Galaxy S26 Ultra launches next year.

Petition to bring back S Pen’s Bluetooth functionality for the Galaxy S26 Ultra has already attained more than 600 signatures

The initiative was taken by Jeff Springer, who obviously appears to be disappointed at the fact that the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen lacks Bluetooth capabilities. Regardless of how many people took advantage of the accessory, it has its use cases, with one example being capturing a picture remotely using the S Pen’s dedicated button. This is just one of the many instances where having a stylus with this level of functionality was handy but not necessary.

Sadly, if there were some magic for Samsung to inform its suppliers that they will now be assembling a new S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, one that features Bluetooth-powered features, the company would pounce on the first opportunity after witnessing the reaction of those who have daily driven the flagship. The petition has garnered more than 600 signatures at the time of writing, with the following details mentioned.

“We implore Samsung Mobile to listen to their user base and incorporate beneficial feedback into their product development process. As a show of commitment to edge-cutting innovation and customer satisfaction, we collectively ask Samsung to bring back the Bluetooth S Pen for the Galaxy S26 Ultra launch in 2026. Please sign this petition to help us reach our goal and make our voices heard!”

While we understand that charging a whopping $1,299 for a flagship and removing features from the package is not the smartest of strategies, as a standalone handset, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is more than impressive and if you want to become the proud owner of one, you can pre-order one from Amazon, while also getting a $200 gift card for becoming an early adopter.
