AMD's RX 9070 XT hasn't slowed down since its launch and has been selling hotcakes every day all over the world.

RX 9070 XT Sells Over 100 Units in One Day While RTX 5070 Ti Just 10: Sold More Units Compared to All RTX 50 Series GPUs Combined

It's not a surprise that the Radeon RX 9070 series quickly went out of stock after its launch. However, this is the first time that AMD managed to not only outperform its previous generations but also beat NVIDIA fair and square in sales. Apart from AMD's confirmation of selling 10 times more sales than the previous generation, the RX 9070 XT can be seen selling like hotcakes right from the retailers.

Mindfactory, which is one of the biggest retailers in Germany, is seeing some terrific sales of the Radeon RX 9070 XT. Multiple GPU models are now currently in stock, starting from €795, including VAT. Without VAT, the prices can be anywhere from US$715 to US$764, which is quite higher than the announced MSRP. Despite that, the GPUs have sold dozens of units for each model on the very first day of this week.

It's reported that the Radeon RX 9070 XT sold about 105 units on Monday with all these models combined. These include models like XFX RX 9070 XT Quicksilver, PowerColor RX 9070 XT Hellhound, and XFX RX 9070 XT Mercury Magnetic Air RGB. Here are the latest stats, as can be seen from the website:

  1. PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound: 40 units
  2. PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Quicksilver: 20 units
  3. XFX Radeon RX 9070 XT Mercury RGB OC: 30 units
  4. XFX Radeon RX 9070 XT Mercury RGB OC White: 20 units
  5. XFX Radeon RX 9070 XT Mercury Magnetic Air RGB OC: 10 units

These come to 110 units as it includes a few more units sold today. The RTX 50 series GPUs have witnessed lower sales combined when compared to the RX 9070 XT. As far as the RTX 5070 Ti goes, which is a direct competitor to the RX 9070 XT, the GPU currently sits at $250-$300 higher than the latter, selling only 10 units. The RX 5070 Ti is definitely a bit faster, but the price gap is too much to offer better value than the RX 9070 XT.

On the other hand, the GeForce RTX 5090 is the best-selling GPU but sold just 20 units. Since there is currently one model available, which is also quite expensive compared to all other GPUs, it's expected. However, availability matters as well and the RTX 5090 isn't as abundant as the RX 9070 series. Nonetheless, the Palit RTX 5090 GameRock edition is currently in stock at €2,990, which translates to US$2690 without VAT. Not necessarily a great price, but we have seen the GPU retailing for over $3000 in multiple regions.

Let's wait for the week to end to get a full picture of the GPU market, but we will likely see RX 9070 XT dominating.
