Last week Skype reported that they are working hard to fix a security issue with the iTunes Skype app. Version 3.0.1 and earlier versions contained a cross-site scripting vulnerability that could be used to run malicious java script code to get sensitive information such as your chat messages or address book. The issue has now been reportedly fixed in the newest version of Skype V3.5.84. Apart from the security fix, the update improves video performance, displays smilies in chat and lastly bluetooth support has been added for iPhone4/3GS, iPad 2 and iPod Touch 4G. So go ahead and download the update from the app store on your PC or iOS device or you can go here for downloading it manually.
