V-Color Technology Debuts the World's First Overclockable DDR5 RDIMM Memory, Available in 128 GB and 256 GB Capacities for HPCs
One of the leading memory makers, V-Color, announced its latest high capacity and the world's first 'Overclockable' RDIMM DDR5 memory. The lineup includes capacities of 128 GB and 256 GB on each module, allowing configurations like 512 GB (4x 128 GB), 1024 GB (8 x 128GB/ 4x 256 GB), and even up to 2048 GB (8x 256 GB).
The 2048 GB total memory capacity is the industry's first. Still, apart from such a high memory capacity configuration, the RDIMM memory also boasts a high memory frequency of up to 6000 MT/s with a low latency of just CL38. These RDIMM DDR5 memories are aimed at high-performance PCs, AI-intensive workloads, and data-driven enterprise applications for faster computing.

Apart from high capacity and high memory speed, the memory also supports ECC (Error Correcting Code), which introduces better reliability for data integrity. These are aimed at high-end server/workstation motherboards like GIGABYTE AI TOP Series TRX50 for AMD Threadripper Pro processors and the GIGABYTE AI TOP W790 platform for Intel Xeon processors. These platforms can now enhance the performance of their AI models, machine learning, real-time analytics, and cloud computing.
Equipped with Richtek PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit), the memory introduces better power efficiency and stable overclocking. V-Color has also shared the results of these RDIMM DDR5 memories on both Intel and AMD platforms and has achieved up to 6000 MT/s on the latter.
