Microsoft has revealed the titles they’ll be adding to Xbox Game Pass on PC and consoles in early-to-mid April, and there are some solid things to dip your toes into. Subscribers can look forward to Lego 2K Drive, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the new-release indie Harold Halibut, and more.

Here are your headliner Game Pass titles for the next couple of weeks:
Lego 2K Drive (Cloud and Console) - April 3
From Wccftech’s review – “Lego 2K Drive is a nicely-polished ride, offering up unexpectedly-intense kart-racing action and a handful of diverting sandbox stages to explore. Unfortunately, the game is also a bit light on content and its aggressive microtransactions may make parents looking for something light to play with their kids pump the brakes. Lego 2K Drive is still worth considering, particularly once it goes on sale, but it feels like it’s a few bricks short of what it could have been.”
Harold Halibut (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) - April 16
“For a brief period in the 90s we had a spate of games like The Neverhood that used stop-motion-style visuals to impressive effect, but the trend eventually dried up, probably because stop-motion is such a labor-intensive thing. Well, new indie adventure Harold Halibut looks to bring stop-motion games back, and, in fact, take them to a new level. While older games in the style were simple claymation efforts, Harold Halibut looks more like a complex Henry Selick (Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline) production.”
These games will also be available in early April:
- Superhot: Mind Control Delete (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 2
- Lil Gator Game (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 4
- EA Sports PGA Tour (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) EA Play – April 4
- Kona (Cloud and Console) – April 9
- Botany Manor (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – April 9
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 11
Xbox Game Pass grants players access to more than 100 games for 10 bucks a month, while Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also gets you Xbox Live Gold and EA Play access — you can check out a full list of available console and PC games here. You can sign up here.
Interestingly, while Sony hasn’t announced their full lineup of PS Plus Extra and Premium titles for April yet (they usually do that somewhere around the middle of the month) they have already revealed a couple of titles on the way soon – Tales of Kenzera: Zau, which will be a Day 1 PS Plus addition, and the acclaimed indie hit Dave the Diver that’s also debuting on PlayStation.

Dave the Diver (PS4, PS5) – April 16
“Dave the Diver is a unique hybrid ocean adventure that combines ocean exploration with sushi restaurant management. At the heart of the game lies the core gameplay loop, narrative, characters, and captivating mini-games.”
Tales of Kenzera: Zau (PS5) – April 23
“Tales of Kenzera: Zau is a polished-looking new Metroidvania inspired by both African Bantu culture and the personal life of the game’s creative director Abubakar Salim (who also happens to be the voice of Bayek in the Assassin’s Creed games). This is the latest publishing effort by the EA Originals label, which has a very solid track record, so this ought to be a tale worth listening to.”
Sony now offers three tiers of PS Plus – Essential, Extra, and Premium. The price for all three tiers have gone up for those subscribing for a year, but the monthly cost hasn’t changed. You can explore the games available via each tier and sign up here.
What do you think? Between the Game Pass titles and the PS Plus Day 1 games, do you see anything you’re eager to play?
